On this occasion, the Mathematics Department of Universitas Negeri Malang is holding a guest lecture in building B24, room 302, inviting speakers Dr. I Ketut Swastika, M.Sc., and Dr. Sudirman, M.Sc., with the theme “Education Transformation to Build an Anti-Corruption Generation: Fostering Integrity, Transparency, and Accountability.” In this event, the speakers have the opportunity to share knowledge and information related to violations that lead to corruption. The webinar activity is conducted online using Zoom Meeting, and attended by approximately 100 participants.. When the Zoom room is full, participants are requested to join the live streaming on the Mathematics Department’s YouTube channel.

According to Dr. I Ketut Swastika, M.Sc., activities such as cheating, plagiarism, and gratification are part of corruption, and therefore, students need to avoid engaging in such misconduct. Dr. Sudirman, M.Sc., believes that the fight against corruption can start with students refraining from giving anything to their professors, as this is considered gratification. Furthermore, it is essential to act as agents of change, setting an example by taking action when encountering litter on the streets to ensure the places we pass are well-preserved and clean.

As millennials, we have the responsibility to bring about change in the future by learning from past experiences and mistakes. Continuous corruption not only harms the nation but also affects individuals who partake in it.

This activity is highly beneficial, especially for students and faculty members, concerning the eradication of corruption in the educational environment. By conducting this webinar, it is hoped that the students and lecturers understand the implementation of anti-corruption inside the institution and on the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), particularly goals 15, 16.
