In order to support the general public in their professional development, UM provides short courses and vocational training programs outside its regular education program. The short course program is offered in three choices of study programs, i.e., Information Technology, Graphical Design & Multimedia, and Accounting. In comparison, the vocational training program is offered with five choices of study programs, i.e., Information Technology, Banking, Graphical Design & Multimedia, Secretarial and Public Communication, and Accounting.

The short course curriculum is designed to prepare the students with a range of knowledge and technical skills demanded by the job market. The program is packed with practical courses in 15 meetings. This short course can be beneficial for people with any educational background seeking career development and building their own businesses.

With a longer duration and coupled with job training and internship, the vocational training curriculum is designed not only to prepare the students with the competence demanded by the job market but also to provide professional experience during the training. The program is organized as in-house training at the campus for four months and a professional internship at a partner company for one month. These two programs are expected to reduce the unemployment rate and supply the job market with talented human resources.
